Can you tell if these are two males? If so they can be very belligerent to one another. I have seen the same problem with Pearl Gouramis. The solution is to remove one of the males or add more females, space-permitting. I certainly reccommend removing the stressed fish into isolation until it feeds again and recovers from the shock. If you choose to re-introduce it, do so only with at least 3 females.
