I wouldnt recommand being afaid of putting rocks in a 180gal aquarium, just as long if you dont throw them in the aquarium, but just be gentel when placing the rocks in your aquarium you put some gravel under the rock, to i guess "soften the blow" if your afaid that is...... so place the rocks softly and put the rocks on a side that is flat.
