:I currently have a 40 gal tank with 2-2" irids and 4-balas (between 1-3"). Also, I have a 2" striped raphael cat. It is a fairly new tank and still cycling. First question: I want to get a 125 gallon tank but I am trying to hold off till I can find a used one at a reasonable price. How long can I safely hold off without doing any damage to the fish? Question 2: I feed them twice a day, tropical flakes and a little bit of frozen bloodworms in the evening. The large Bala (about 3")seems to go crazy after the bloodworms, he starts jerking up and down against the glass like he wants more. The rest of them don't cause a problem. Is he ok? He doesn't do this when I give them the freeze dried variety. Finally Queston 3: For schooling, should I get 2 more balas?
:Thanks,

I have a question for you since you seem to have some experience in the iridescent sharks. I have two 1 1/2" ones right now and one of them seems to look almost pregnant. Is this possible at such a young age? I have only had them for about a month and i've read that it is almost impossible to breed them in captivity. I also wanted to tell you that mine really enjoy brine shrimp pellets if you want to try something different.
Thanks,
Nathan
