Update on catfish. Ok the smaller spots seem to have healed over nicely however the large spot still has problems. It is definitely a hole now. Half the hole is starting to heal so it is getting smaller in diameter but the other half doesn’t appear to be healing yet and the hole appears to be almost 2 mm deep at the deepest area. No signs of infection. My main concern is why is the hole getting deeper. Temperature of tank is now at 88 degrees and I planned on keeping around there for another couple of days. Putting any sort of antibiotic cream or Vaseline would not be a problem (he will come to the top and eat out of your hand so I can get him to swim up to me and quickly put it on) should I just try Vaseline or should I try an antibiotic cream (the vet had given me a bottle antibiotic ointment to use on an abscess on a turtle) Thanks
