Alex im not calling you a liar by any meens im sure you are more experienced than i but im just gonna toss in my $.02. alex is right it doesnt HAVE to be at 78+ but as long as its in the mid 70's id say you are safe. the vases are a ploy. food im gonna have to say i like the "betta bites" by hbh and my betta's do too. i also feed them baby wax worms which mine eat up like nothing! notice i said baby not full grown (early larvae stage). and mahalie gave some good advice as well listen to all 3 of these guys they know their stuff (and girls dont meen to descriminate) :) i think diversity is the spice of life so feeding several different things is a BIG plus. i just want to re-itterate the fact that peace lillys give hardly any nutritional value to your betta feed them a meaty food like betta bites i think you and your betta will be glad you did.
