I was thinking about putting my male betta into a larger tank perhaps a 10 gallon or larger. Right now he is in a 5gal by himself but I really wanted to get him a female tankmate. In your opinion, do you think he will become aggressive towards the female and attack? I know he does not like other fish but was wondering if having a bigger tank with lots of space would help. I would not be putting any other fish in the tank, just the two bettas. thanks in advance.
