Hi. I'm new to both this forum and salt water. I have a 29 gal.eclipse. I have about 20lb live rock, a killer snail, and a few crabs. I have had this running about a month now. Everything seems fine except I cannot get the ammonia level lover than .5. I would like to add eventually 2 couple clownfish and a goby but don't want to kill them. Got any helpful suggestions? Also...a protein skimmer. Nothing fits on this eclipse and please don't say dump it like a few other forums did. Do I need a skimmer for a few fish and some rock.
