thanks, Im taking a sample of water in today. I dont realy think I need to seperate the little ones out, no one seems to be bothering them, and they have plenty of paces to hide if someone does get pushy. I did look realy carefully at the fish when I got them, but nothing showed up till about the next day, then my betta died (not sure what of) and then one of the platies. My one platy is still alive, but Im not sure for how long. She doesnt Have hardly any tail left, poor thing. I took my little net and caught her in it, and put it so that it hangs in the water, so she isnt sitting on the bottom...she perks up a little If I touch the handle of the net, but I think she is about exhausted from trying to swim with out a tail.
I am still hopeing she might survive...the tank has been dosed for Ick, and fin rot, and I did almost a 50% water change, and also added aquarium salt. I also bought a new filter cartrige.
The store I bought my fish at (superpets) says they wont buy my babys when they get bigger (They are too small to try to catch right now...I'd have to take all the ornaments out first) and Im sure they won't take the snails....manbey I need to get an angel fish....(my parents raised angels for a while, they would eat any snails in the tank) no, I dont intend to get anymore fish for a while...not till the little ones grow up, and I can sell them.
