What size is your tank? I highly recommend you take the iridescent sharks back to the pet store. These guys get to almost 4 feet in length and should have no less than 600-gallons per fish. If the "white feeder fish" are goldfish as I'm thinking they are, then they should have a tank of no less than 50-gallons for just the two of them, and they shouldn't be kept with tropical fish for a couple of reasons. One, goldfish are coldwater fish and need temps in the upper 60's as opposed to the upper 70's, although fancy goldfish do better in warmer water, commons or comets don't, and two their dietary requirements are different. I would also recommend the same size tank for the loaches as they too get to be of decent size. This is to give you some idea of just how overcrowded your tank is, and one reason why you are having problems with high ammonia levels.
