:Hi! I was wondering...should I turn my aquarium lights off during the day or night? Will this greatly affect the temperature my my tank...I've been putting off doing it because I'm afraid I will wake up in the morning and the temp will be down to like 70 and my fish will die! Which leaves me to question if it is better to turn the light off in the morning for the day as opposed to the night?
:Thanks for the advice in advance!

you had a heater for your tank. Have lights on during the day. Having them on at night plus the ambient room lights entering the aquarium during the daytime will stress your fish. They like to hunker down and rest at night (90% of fish anyway).
