They do well in water that they can just barely fully submerge in,I keep mine in plasic shoeboxes above a little heater. They do not handle temp change very well so a constant 78 degrees is what I try and keep them at. I feed crix,worms and guppies. I don't think that feeder fish are a very good diet because they should get lots of calcium or mbd will be a big problem.
