Please understand one thing. PetHobbyist is a business and as a business we earn a living with advertising along with the number of folks who frequent our boards. We are not here to provide a place for you to solicite folks to another web site. Would you go to a friend's party and once there, tell everyone to come to your house where the party will be more fun?
We have tried to be accommodating about off-topic discussion and have provided you with a place for it. No posts were removed for off-topic discussion on this board. However, we will remove posts that violate our rules. Just because someone says their post was removed for a reason does not make it so.
We are glad to have you here and have welcomed you. We have provided a place for off-topic discussion like you asked for. But the off topic discussion should not include trying to take folks away from here. And it will not include bashing us. We ask that you follow our posting guidelines as on any board. It's really pretty simple.
That said, we welcome you folks from the Acme boards and we hope you will enjoy your stay here.
