I too like the new format. It's much easier to bookmark the index page, then find the appropriate forum.
I also have a suggestion maybe someone can look into that I think would be very helpful. I find it terribly frustrating when someone posts a sick fish condition and we are unable to determine a diagnosis because vital information isn't provided.
Is there a way, perhaps when someone clicks on "Post A Message" the form can display, possibly in red lettering to stand out, that if they need help with a sick fish, they should provide, water temp,
how long the tank has been set up,
ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels,
and amount of fish in tank and what types.
You know, all the pertinent information needed. And includ a possible statement that they may not receive a correct diagnosis if they do not provide the information?
Just seems to me that it keeps going back and forth trying to get all the required information, and unless it is ICH, we really can't provide a proper diagnosis without all the information.
Just a suggestion though. I know it helps me on my website with diagnosing issues when people fill in the question form I provide.
