my angels were due for there second spawn yesterday but for some reason the female turned on him.i have moved him to the fry tank with 3 weeks old platys but he hasnt gone for them.he has bad bruising down his side along with torn dorsal and tail fins i have just sent hubby to get some melafix.he is also swimming odd (upside down...doing spins and upright)

update

well i decided to leave him over night.he is still alive but laying on the bottom.i picked him up in my hands because its more gentle than a net.he feels very stiff towards his back end and you can see quite a bit of bruising in that part.i tried hand feeding him a bloodworm and a bit of flkae.he took it it only to spit the lot back out again.he is soooo my best fish.a golden angel who is nearly 7 inches and quite thick.

i need someone to tell tell me what to do...sounds kinda stupid but i cant make my own mind up

sometimes i think "oh he is suffering and end it for him"
but other times i tink maybe just maybe he will heal.

i know laying on the bottom cant be good for him and he is now not making any attemp to even swim.

Thanks
Lorraine
