This may sound like an absurd question, guys. But be patient
with me, I had a very special mated pair of Angels. They were
3 years old. I made the mistake of entering some plant life which was not inspected and a huge case of Velvet's broke out. She did not survive. What I'm wondering is should I bring in some new females for him, maybe a couple of them. Is their any chance that angels mate for life, like some small birds do. My couple had a particular set of movements somewhat exclusive and I have never seen anything like it. They used to make "clicking" noises with their gills to signal direction and communicate. Has anyone seen this phenomenon, also? And what have some of you done in the past? When she first died, he lost his appetite for a couple days, but it's come back around and he's happy again. Thanks for all your thoughts, -J
