Netti is correct, that's too much salt unless you are trying to kill external parasites, and then you'd only use it as a short term dip.

Changing water is essential to Angel health. There are several very active angelfish forums on the web. Post under the "Urgent help needed" topics, and someone will respond usually within an hour.

Do a Google search for Angelfish Forum.

It's possible the swollen belly is a female loaded with eggs. I have a few who spawn infrequently who look like that when they are ready.
