In my experiance, angels can decide to eat their eggs at any time, but once they start to hatch you're usually safe unless something upsets them. I have had pairs eat their eggs straight after laying them, others brood them for a few days and all of a sudden eat them for no reason. Mine usually breed every month to six weeks unless they're looking after a brood in which case it can be up to a month longer between spawnings.
