I have a sea anemone that has been healthy and lively for about a year. For the past 2 weeks HALF of him (from the top view - cant see his foot) has been full with tentacles fully extended, the other half totally 'introverted'. Last week i fed him a full silverside which he devouered and since then he's been almost completely 'introverted'. His color remains the same - he IS still large and somewhat swollen, so he's not totally dead.
I've hyperlinked a picture that is NOT mine, but is a good representation of the kind of anemone we have.
