clown fish dead...upset anemone?!

Since the death of my clownfish, I keep finding my anemone upside down. I turn him back over, where he stays for a few days...then, back upside down. Is there a reason for this strange occurance? During the 6 months I had the clown, I never found the anemone inverted.
